Have you always dreamed of embarking on a freelance writing career and breaking free of that 9-to-5 job once and for all? Or, perhaps in these tough financial times, you’ve lost your steady job and desperately need to find a way to earn money from home. Whatever your situation may be, a freelance writing career could be the answer.
If you are willing to work hard and follow the tips that I’ll share with you via my mentoring service, you can make it as a freelance writer. I’ve been living the dream for almost a decade, and my income has increased every year.
I am an award-winning author of 41 books (non-fiction for adults and children’s books) and hundreds of articles for magazines, newspapers and websites. Also, I am a ghostwriter for some of today’s most effective ministers and recently helped ghostwrite a New York Times best-seller. This past year has been my best year ever! (For example, I ghostwrote a book for a client and earned $45,000 over a seven-month timeframe. Whoo hoo!)
There may be a recession going on in the nation, but not for freelance writers. Those empty pages of magazines still have to be filled every month. Those websites still need fresh copy on a regular basis. Library publishers still need writers to generate exciting copy for their educational series. Publishers still need freelance writers to take on work-for-hire assignments every day. So, what are you waiting for?
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
“Looking for encouragement? Trying to figure out if you're really a writer? If you're interested in learning how to sell what you write, Michelle is the right mentor for you. I've followed Michelle's advice and have seen my name in print more than thirty times. Michelle will show you how to get published and will teach you that your dream is realistic.” Christy Lindsay, freelance writer and busy mom of two
“Navigating the publishing industry can be tricky business—that's why having the guidance of someone like Michelle Medlock Adams is an absolute must. As an author of more than 40 books, Michelle knows what it takes to get the job done. Her insight and expertise can give you the push you need to write smarter and begin selling your work.” Wendy Lanier, freelance writer and children’s book author
“Michelle, I think I have finally suceeded in breaking into the Christian market. I have you and your online mentoring class to thank for the success. In July 2011, I have 5 selections in Heavenly Humor for the Teacher's Soul by Barbour.” Deborah Bates Cavitt
If you sign up for my mentoring services, I will:
- Read up to five writing samples and offer honest feedback on each one. I will tell you the things you are doing right and the things that need work.
- Assist you in creating a pitch/promo letter so that you can better sell yourself as a professional freelance writer to online job boards, magazines, websites, publishers, etc.
- Help you figure out a writing plan—identify markets you should tackle right now (local and regional freebie publications, trade journals, websites, ministries, etc.); ways to remarket/repackage stuff you’ve already written for resale; and figure out your immediate and long-term writing goals and how to accomplish those dreams.
- Be “on retainer” to you for 60 days, answering questions via email and phone (if needed) concerning your writing.
- As a bonus, I will send you a cd teaching—“Ten Tips to Double Your Freelance Income”—that I often share at writers’ conferences and universities across the nation.
All of this for only $450.00, but don’t delay. I can only take on a limited number of writers because I only have so many hours in each day that I can devote to mentoring. After all, I am a professional writer and have to hit my deadlines, too! So, if you feel like you’re ready to launch out into the freelance sea of opportunity, I am happy to help you chart your course.
Let me know if you are interested. Thanks so much.
Blessings!
